A few things about me

- Always a rock hound. Recent classes I've taken are energy healing and silversmithing. Upcoming are lapidary and casting. I enjoy making people laugh with my lame and/or sarcastic remarks, spending time with family and friends, (which includes my pets), and am trying to learn to love going to the gym. (The only thing getting me there now are the bodyjam classes which are amazingly fun!)
Education
OK...this is NOT related to jewelry making, but I really busted my booty doing it so I'm putting it on here!
MS in Hydrology/Hydrogeology with undergrad coursework primarily focused in civil and environmental engineering.
PhD coursework completed through Applied Economics and Statistics, which was part of the interdisciplinary Hydrology Program. Never finished my dissertation...burnt out I suppose, plus decided it was time to enter the engineering workforce.
Classical Pianist, studied under a former European concert pianist. Was a piano teacher for many years. I am now studying jazz and improv when I can find the time.
